Sydney Christmas Guide › Sydney Christmas Shows 2026
The Salvation Army's Carols in the Domain is a night of classic Christmas carols under the stars, led by performers from song, stage, and screen. Come early and make a day of it, with family-friendly entertainment and the Festival of Food, a Christmas farmers' market-style food village.
Before the main show there are festive activities, family fun, and giveaways. Once night falls, it's a sing-along, and the evening ends with fireworks and festive surprises. Premium Reserved Seats come as upright chairs or low beach chairs, and TinselTown is a reserved picnic-style lawn with Super Screens and its own bar.
Bring picnic rugs, low seating, a hat, and sunscreen (it is a Sydney Christmas, after all), plus something warm for after sunset. Leave glass, single-use plastic, pets, and tent pegs at home. Alcohol is allowed only in small quantities. A drop-off zone on Hospital Road allows a one-minute stop, with no parking.
