Sydney Christmas Guide › Sydney Christmas Shows 2026
Sydney Philharmonia Choirs presents a bespoke Lessons & Carols program, performed by the Chamber Singers with organist David Drury and conductor Brett Weymark. Traditional carols are interspersed with readings reflecting on Christmas, harmony, and collaboration.
The program includes Gustav Holst's In the Bleak Midwinter, Herbert Howells' A Spotless Rose, the Coventry Carol, and the Wexford Carol. You won't just be listening, either: the audience joins in on singalong favourites like O Come, All Ye Faithful and Good King Wenceslas, with the organ for company.
Tickets are $44 for full general admission, $40 concession, and $30 for under-30s, plus a booking fee of $8.95 per transaction. The concert is suitable for ages 8 and up. There's a Sydney concert and a Goulburn concert, and a ticket admits you to one of them.
