Sydney Christmas Guide › Sydney Christmas Activities 2026
Georges River Council's Magic of Christmas turns Carss Bush Park into a family evening of children's activities and live stage performances, and it finishes with fireworks lighting up the bay. Entry is free, and it's open to all ages.
Before the fireworks, the kids have activities to keep them busy, the stage has live performances, and there's a diverse selection of food and treats around the park. The 2026 entertainment program is still being finalised, so keep an eye out for the lineup.
Bring a picnic rug and chairs so you can settle in for the evening. It's an alcohol-free event. Parking is available at Carss Park Flats, but if you can, walk, cycle or catch public transport instead.
